WHC High Temp Amylase is best used in processes such as starch liquefaction, alcohol production, and bioethanol manufacturing.
Recommended application dosages range from 250 to 350 grams per ton of cereal. It works well within a pH range of 5.0 to 7.0 and at temperatures up to 100°Cor212°F, with optimal performance at pH 5.4 to 6.5 and temperatures of 80°C to 95°Cor176°F to 203°F.
Adding calcium ions in the form of CaCl₂ (50–100 ppm) may be beneficial.
